About Tabitha
Tabitha offers Nebraska’s first and only comprehensive line of Elder Care services.
Christie Hinrichs was named president and CEO of Tabitha in July 2010. Her dedication to Elder care and involvement with Tabitha dates back to 1993 and includes leadership roles within Tabitha Hospice and the organization’s in-home support program. Following her service as a branch manager for Coram Healthcare and executive experience as chief operating officer at the Nebraska Heart Hospital, Hinrichs returned to Tabitha in 2006 as vice president of clinical services. Even during her time away from the organization in a day-to-day capacity, Hinrichs stayed connected to Tabitha—serving on its corporate board of directors from November 2004 through May 2006.
Dave Jackson joined Tabitha in May 2006 with more than 25 years’ experience in health care. Previously he served at the Archdiocese of Omaha, Catholic Cemeteries and Omaha’s Children's Hospital. Jackson has been a certified public accountant since 1981. He and his wife have four children and five grandchildren.
Joyce Ebmeier began service as Tabitha’s vice president of strategic planning and communications when the position was created in October 2007. Prior to this she served as administrator of Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 14 years. She was instrumental in leading the development of Tabitha’s Green House Project® for long-term care, the first of its kind in Nebraska and only the second nationally. Ebmeier joined Tabitha in 1981.
Heath Stukenholtz joined the Tabitha Foundation in 2011. A University of Nebraska-Kearney graduate in business administration, Stukenholtz has experience in sales management, advertising and marketing. He also is an active community member, volunteering with Junior Achievement, Lincoln Paint-a-Thon, Friendship Home and serving as a University of Nebraska track and field official.
Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, is pleased to announce the addition of Tammy Ward to the organization’s strategic planning, business development and public advocacy efforts. In her new position, Ward is responsible for fostering the growth of Tabitha’s services and strategic relationships as well as advocating for Elder-supportive policy at the state and federal levels.
Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah Friedman to director of finance. In her new role Friedman will supervise Tabitha’s accounting office, and manage and prepare financial statements, budgets and forecasts for all the Elder living communities and service lines Tabitha operates and manages throughout southeast Nebraska.
