Tabitha Health Care Services' caring and innovative approach to health care has helped thousands of people in southeast Nebraska. Our history of innovation led to Tabitha being the first in our community to develop Home Health Care, Hospice, Meals on Wheels, Alzheimer's/Dementia care in a uniquely designed setting, Intergenerational Care and the Green House Project® at Tabitha. Tabitha offers a continuum of care staffed by over 700 employees and 2,000 volunteers who share our founding values of tradition, excellence and innovation. Tabitha provides compassionate older adult care through rehabilitation, home care, hospice, meals on wheels, intergenerational care and Elder living options. Tabitha Health Care Services is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is located in the heart of Lincoln, Nebraska. In addition, Tabitha has Regional Offices in York, Nebraska City and Grand Island.

The Tabitha Identity
A graphic symbol is as unique as a fingerprint. And like a fingerprint that is linked to identity, it is also linked to a personality, a reputation and a concrete image. Our new identity will help guide Tabitha’s image today and into the future as we create our unique imprint in Nebraska to be the experts in Elder health care.

Our logo reflects Tabitha’s history and it embodies the organization’s future. It features Tabitha’s new corporate color in an exciting graphic representation of a cross with a sunrise and sunset above it. The cross exemplifies Tabitha’s Christian heritage, its motto “Tabitha Cares Because Christ Cares” and its relationship with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The sunrise, on the left side of the mark, reflects the feelings of hope and inspiration our extraordinary staff, volunteers and donors provide to the people we serve. The sunset, on the right in reverse, reflects that we serve an audience that is in the sunset of their lives – Elderhood, a time equally important to childhood and adulthood. The art also reflects a starburst, referring to the holy star that signalled our Savior’s birth and beckons us all to higher goals.

The combination of angular and round features in the logo represent Tabitha’s services which are both high-tech – as the experts in Elder care – and high touch – as the leaders in providing loving, compassionate care to Elders.
