What We Do

Tabitha offers a continuum of care – including rehabilitation, home care, hospice, meals on wheels, adult day services and Elder living options – to meet older adult care needs to live the moment to its fullest. Tabitha provides home care services to 29 southeast Nebraska counties.

  Tabitha provides a healing touch through nursing, social work and rehabilitation as you recover from an illness or injury in the comfort of your own home. Tabitha Home Health Care is Medicare certified and ranks among the top programs in Nebraska. Serves all or part of 19 counties.
  
  
• Celebrate the Moment with Home Care Specialties of Tabitha
  Tabitha provides the personal care s need to help you remain in your home with its private pay Home Care Specialties program. With assistance now and then or 24 hours of care daily, services available include homemaker, home health aide and skilled nursing. Serves 29 counties.
  
  
• Cherish the Moment with Hospice of Tabitha
  Tabitha offers people nearing the end of their lives the hope to be free of pain, symptoms and suffering. Specially trained nurses, social workers, physicians, clergy and volunteers offer care and support to Hospice patients and their families. Hospice is not a place, it is a form of end-of-life care provided wherever a person calls home, including nursing and assisted living facilities. Serves 29 counties.
  
  
• Savor the Moment Tabitha Meals on Wheels
  When you need help with meals, let Tabitha do lunch! Tabitha Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver a delicious, hot and nutritious noon meal any day of the year to individuals who are recuperating, homebound or disabled. Serves Lincoln.
  
  
• Enjoy the Moment with Tabitha Independent Living
  Tabitha offers independent living for individuals aged 62 and up. Enjoy the freedom you are accustomed to and the convenience of the Tabitha community! Tabitha offers two convenient locations in central and northwest Lincoln. Many amenities provide the comfort and access you need. Serves Lincoln.

• Reach for the Moment with Tabitha LifeQuest Rehabilitation Center
  Getting back home can follow a hospital stay, injury or illness. Tabitha LifeQuest Center provides expertise and experience in Lincoln's newest setting. The aquatic therapy pool is the only one of its kind in the Lincoln community, offering hands-on, one-on-one treatment; group classes and underwater equipment. Serves Lincoln.
  
  
• Share the Moment with Tabitha Adult Day Services
  At Adult Day Services, your loved one will enjoy a safe and engaging environment that includes exercise, games, music and visiting. Daytime care includes meals, medication administration and transportation. Serves Lincoln.
  
  
• Enjoy the Moment with Tabitha Elder Living in Tabitha Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
  When you need long-term care, Tabitha Nursing & Rehabilitation Center's array of services provides expertise in clinical treatment and personal care. As Lincoln's only Eden Alternative^™ registered home, the Center provides opportunities for each client to continue their personal growth in a warm and engaging environment. The Center is 100% certified for Medicare and Medicaid and offers specialized Alzheimer's/Dementia , Hospice and Rehabilitation programs. Tabitha is scheduled to open Nebraska's first Green House in the spring of 2006. This new care home will allow for nine Elders to live in a neighborhood home equipped and able to meet the skilled nursing needs of those unable to remain at home. Serves Lincoln.
