What else do you need to know about this community? Check out our community spotlight Q and A:
Where is GracePointe?
GracePointe is located on Tabitha’s main Lincoln campus, right in the heart of the capital city.
What care is provided at GracePointe?
GracePointe offers three floors of private apartments, creating a maintenance-free lifestyle for individuals along the aging journey. Caregivers provide assisted living, meaning basic support is available for what we call activities of daily living—dressing, bathing, eating, etc.
What is assisted living?
Assisted living varies at each community. At GracePointe, assisted living is provided to individuals who are not yet in need of skilled nursing (traditional nursing home) level support. Residents may need a little help getting around, but do not yet require a nurse to monitor complex health issues.
Many of our residents still have kitchens in their apartments and drive themselves to outings. Unlike independent living or retirement communities, meals are provided and nursing support is at the community 24-hours a day.
What makes GracePointe different?
GracePointe caregivers meet our residents’ physical and emotional needs with compassion, allowing them to feel secure and at home at all times. With ‘neighborhoods’ where residents and staff develop caring, family-like relationships, GracePointe provides seniors—including those experiencing dementia-related memory loss including Alzheimer’s disease—with all the richness of living in a safe and reliable environment you can trust.
Many of our GracePointe neighborhoods are dedicated to assisting those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Our compassionate caregivers receive special training in the best approach for memory care issues and the nostalgic design of the community helps with memory recall. The community provides a safe, secure option for individuals suffering from memory loss.
What if my loved one needs more care?
As care needs progress, it can be a scary time for families. At many communities, that means you’re shown the door. Alone, loved ones are forced to yet again do research and tours, trying to find the right new home for their loved one. Not at Tabitha. The Tabitha Continuum of Elder Care Services means that our Continuum Navigators help families find the right next step. Loved ones are never alone . The next step may be adding additional home care, or moving to our skilled nursing community just 100 feet away from GracePointe. As care needs change, it can be stressful for families to find new option. Tabitha has been there and we’ll walk with you every step of the way.
