Proving you’re never too old for a senior prom, Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, hosted GracePointe Assisted Living & Memory Care Suites’ annual spring dinner and dance, ‘Take Me to Paris’ on Thurs., Apr. 20, in Lincoln. A Parisian art walk scene was recreated, featuring chalk murals and creative work from some of Tabitha’s talented residents. All things French from food to fashion to iconic city landmarks and artwork were scattered throughout the venue, giving Elders and families the opportunity to celebrate.
With the help of local high school volunteers, Elders danced and enjoyed an evening out. "They love this night. They talk about it for months before and after. It's a lot of work to put it together, but when you see the Elders having such a great time while bringing the families together; it's awesome to see the smiles on their faces,” says Megan Novell, administrator of GracePointe.
