Tabitha, your answer for Elder Care, proudly opened the doors of its newest skilled nursing and long-term care Tabitha Residence—Harbor House to the public. Special guests on hand included Mayor Chris Beutler, State Senator Kate Bolz along with Chamber of Commerce President, Wendy Birdsall who officially opened the house with the traditional ribbon cutting. The ceremony was followed by a reception and guided tours.
“This marks the eighth Tabitha Residence of its kind; each remarkable house we’ve opened has been a great learning experience, produces extraordinary outcomes and their success is evidence of Tabitha’s commitment to finding innovative ways to optimize the lives of seniors,” said Christie Hinrichs, Tabitha President and CEO. “It’s both a great honor and responsibility to serve our friends and neighbors with the gift of compassionate service for Elders in our community.”
This light and airy residential-style living community is located lakeside in south Lincoln’s beautiful Williamsburg neighborhood. It sits adjacent to Tabitha’s Cove House which holds a perfect five-star overall quality rating, the highest scoring from Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Just as at Cove House, Harbor House seniors enjoy all the comforts of home—including the ability to direct their own care and lifestyle—and remain as independent as possible.
The house includes private suites, bathrooms, distinctive furnishings and a spacious hearth and dining area. Amenities include salon services, a rehabilitation therapy suite and library.
Tabitha’s renowned quality of care has resulted in better clinical outcomes, reduced hospitalization, a decreased occurrence of depression and loneliness and unprecedented satisfaction among older adults who are proud to call these communities home.
