Tabitha Meals on Wheels
Tabitha Meals on Wheels delivers over 360 hot, nutritious meals every day of the year to Lincoln’s Elderly who are unable to grocery shop due to physical limitations, weather and special meal requirements. For many, this program enables them to maintain their independence and health. $5.50 is the cost of one meal provided through Meals on Wheels by Tabitha. The price seems minimal, but 69% of our clients are unable to pay the full price of a hot meal and a large percentage cannot pay at all. Tabitha has committed to serving hot meals to anyone who is eligible, regardless of their ability to pay. With your help, Meals on Wheels by Tabitha can continue that commitment and help Elders maintain their independence.
Tabitha Hospice
Tabitha Health Care Services understands that life’s story never ends. We were the first to bring hospice to Lincoln 30 years ago and continue that tradition with Lincoln’s only free-standing Medicare certified hospice facility, The Journey House. With 12 private rooms, peaceful places and compassionate, well trained staff, the Journey House is dedicated to enhancing end-of-life care in a home-like setting. With your support, we will help families, friends and loved ones celebrate their own story and remember moments past and present in life’s final season.
The Green Houses at Tabitha
We all know that our Elders have contributed much in their lives and believe they deserve respect and dignity. Because a person requires additional care does not mean he or she must exchange the comforts of a warm setting. Green Houses Homes are a new choice for individuals requiring skilled nursing services. These communities remove all institution-like elements, as they are designed with the home in mind. By supporting Tabitha’s Green Houses, you will help uplift individuals to live life on their own terms and schedules.
Tabitha – Renovation Projects
Tabitha is committed to making a difference in the lives of those who come to us for care. As a Christian based organization, we serve those who find us regardless of their financial resources and believe Elders deserve to be served with compassionate care and dignity. Tabitha has learned the importance of private rooms and a home-like environment. A gift to our renovation projects will do more than renovate a room; it improves a healing experience and extends love and dignity to someone when they need it most—as they are healing.

Charitable Gift Annuity
These popular investments allow you to make a charitable contribution to Tabitha while providing fixed and guaranteed lifetime income for you and/or a loved one. Charitable gift annuities allow you to receive tax advantages that make your gift even more valuable.
Trusts
Establishing a Charitable Remainder Unitrust or a Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust will provide you with an income for life. When you die, Tabitha would receive whatever remains in the trust. With a trust, you receive income tax benefits and may reduce capital gains and estate taxes.
