Tabitha Intergenerational Center is an innovative program began at Tabitha in 2001. It merges Early Childhood Education with Adult Day Services. The vision has been to create safe enchanting community of friends, life-long learning and belonging. Tabitha Adult Day Services is intended to be a home away from home for your loved one who needs care and support during the day while you are at work. On those occasions when you need respite, Tabitha Adult Day Services is there for you. Adults are offered the opportunity to interact with others and enjoy activities which foster happier, healthier, meaningful lives. We provide a loving nurturing environment that honors each person's history, dignity and self-worth.
Services Available
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
Staff can assist with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, organization of meals and therapeutic recreation programs.
Nutritious Meals and Snacks
Nutritious meals and snacks prepared under the direction of a registered dietitian.
Medication and Treatment Administration
Regular medications and treatments will be provided by a nurse or staff member with medication certification.
Pastoral Care
Tabitha chaplains conduct church services, devotionals and other worship opportunities, as well as offer spiritual support as needed.
Intergenerational Activities
All Elders have the opportunity to participate in one or more intergenerational relationships and activities, if they wish.
Other Services
Tabitha provides many other services including a beauty shop, laboratory testing, podiatry and physical therapy as needed and/or desired.
