Since 1886, Tabitha has a legacy of being FIRST to fill community needs—its why nonprofit Tabitha exists.
In 1967, Tabitha’s Martha “Marty” Maseman was FIRST to see a need and find a solution. Serving as a Tabitha nurse for almost two decades, Marty left a legacy of Caring. She introduced Tabitha Meals on Wheels—the FIRST program of its kind in Lincoln—to deliver hot, nutritious meals to older adults who were unable to afford or physically prepare their own food.
Fast forward 56 years and 5 million meals later, and Tabitha Meals on Wheels lives on because of generous donors and dedicated Volunteers, like you.
