Demand is high, and costs of food, labor and workforce are ever-rising for Tabitha Meals on Wheels, Lincoln’s first and longest-running meal delivery service for older neighbors.
82% of meal recipients say a Volunteer is the only person they see each day. The continuance of this lifeline program is not only important for Seniors’ health and independence, but for their overall well-being.
In 2024, nonprofit Tabitha must raise $700,000 to supplement the costs of meals and continue supporting Seniors throughout Nebraska’s capital city.
Thank you for ensuring older neighbors’ independence and safety!
