Tabitha, Nebraska’s industry-leading Senior Care provider, is gearing up for the global Giving Tuesday campaign. Occurring on November 27, Giving Tuesday is held annually after Thanksgiving and is part of a trio of holiday shopping events, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The goal is to kick off the holiday season’s giving spirit by inspiring the community to support their neighbors by giving back to local charities and causes such as Tabitha.
Every day, over 2,000 Seniors in 28 Nebraska counties rely on Tabitha, a local nonprofit, faith-based organization, for services, such as in-home medical care, rehabilitation therapy, skilled nursing, hospice, residential living and Tabitha Meals on Wheels. In turn, Tabitha relies on gracious donors to fulfill its mission of providing exceptional and innovative care that promotes the dignity, independence and well-being of older adults.
Tabitha is a grateful recipient of a special contribution provided by Thrivent Member Network – Nebraska Region. Thrivent will match up to $10,000 and pay processing fees for donations received during the 24-hour Giving Tuesday time frame.
“This year, your gift will go even further—thanks to Thrivent’s generous match,” shared Tabitha Chief Development Officer Heath Stukenholtz. “Our friends and neighbors are counting on us. Please consider giving back to our local community members in need through Tabitha. Every dollar makes a difference and will help Tabitha continue to provide the exceptional care every Senior needs and deserves.”
