Tabitha Grief Groups and Hospice Volunteer Training - February 2019

MAIN REGION (LINCOLN, NE AND LANCASTER COUNTY)

Grief and support groups are open to anyone in the community experiencing loss or needing support.

  • “Loss of a Loved One Drop-in Grief Group,” held every Monday, 10-11:30 a.m., at the Front Porch Coffee Shop, 5925 Adams St. Call 402.486.8577 for confirmation of dates.
  • “Loss of a Loved One Drop-in Grief Group,” held every Wednesday, 1:30-3 p.m., at The Harbor Coffeehouse, 1265 S. Cotner Blvd. Call 402.486.8577 for confirmation of dates.
  • “Men’s Drop-in Grief Group,” held every other Friday, February 1 and 15, 1:30-3 p.m., at Hy-Vee deli, 7151 Stacy Ln. Call 402.486.8577 for confirmation of dates.

Tabitha invites you to join the Tabitha Hospice team for a special Valentine’s Day Remembrance Service to celebrate the life of your loved one and share in the support of our community. Tabitha also offers individual hospice volunteer training throughout Lancaster County. EAST (NEBRASKA CITY, NE AREA) REGION

The “Loss of a Loved One Drop-in Grief Group” will be held every other Tuesday, February 5 and 19, 1-2 p.m., at Café Metro, 901 Central Ave., Auburn. Sessions offer a relaxed, drop-in atmosphere and provide the opportunity to process loss while meeting others with similar experiences.   • “Growing Through Grief” six-week support group, Mondays, February 25 – April 1, 1:30 and 5:30 p.m., at Columbus Senior Center, 3111 19th St. Two ongoing sessions are available; please attend a time that best suits your needs.
  • “York Grief Support Group,” Feb. 28, 2 p.m., at Tabitha, 205 S. Lincoln Ave., Ste. 101.
