Tabitha Hospice Expands Reach to Buffalo County

In the past several years, Tabitha Hospice has experienced significant growth in the central region of the state. Clients and their families are choosing Tabitha Hospice more often because of their customer-centric, compassionate care. In turn, Tabitha continues to invest in the central region by hiring exceptional TEAMembers who deliver extraordinary care and services to friends and neighbors in need.

Forty years ago, Tabitha was the first in the state to offer hospice care services and the first to become Medicare certified.

“Because of the nonprofit’s strong reputation, Tabitha Hospice continues to be invited into new areas to serve those needing loving end-of-life care and support. One of those areas is Kearney (Buffalo County),” shared Christie Hinrichs, Tabitha President & CEO. “Tabitha continuously seeks to listen and expand our quality services, when and where we are needed. The Kearney area is a perfect example of where we believe we’ll be able to make a significant impact. Tabitha is committed to connecting with those who have expressed a need for quality end-of-life support services by extending the reach of Tabitha Hospice services.”

“This growth is a testament to the hard work of the Tabitha Hospice team,” added Chris Wismer, Tabitha Hospice Administrator. “We’re looking forward to growing the team and sharing our expertise and support with area families. We’re grateful for the invitation to expand which will allow us to serve more fellow Nebraskans with our purpose-driven mission.”
