Seniors with Alzheimer's disease or other types of dementia have a wide range of abilities, and their needs change as their condition progresses. High-functioning adults may need only minimal support, while severely impacted individuals may require around-the-clock care.

Tabitha addresses these diverse needs with a broad range of memory care services within the Tabitha Senior Care Continuum. Our unified resource base and continuum navigation continuity make it easier to adjust to each person’s changing needs.

The answer for Senior Care in the state, Tabitha has been instrumental in raising awareness and providing resources for individuals and families experiencing memory loss. In 2014, Tabitha hosted a public dementia panel form for community members to receive answers about the differences between Alzheimer's and dementia, caring for loved ones with memory loss, what professional services are available for dementia, legal concerns and much more. 

In 2015, Tabitha, in collaboration with LeadingAge Nebraska, brought an exclusive premiere of the incredible documentary, Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me to Lincoln for an exclusive showing. The movie chronicles the legendary singer's life with Alzheimer's and his farewell tour.

Darlene's Story

When Darlene’s memory loss began to slip beyond the normal signs of aging, her daughter, Jessica, called Tabitha to help Darlene at home with meals and housekeeping. As Darlene’s condition progressed and it was no longer safe for her to live alone, she moved in with her daughter, and Jessica chose Tabitha Adult Day services during the week while she was at work. Darlene loved the activities, meals and companionship.

Recently Darlene moved to GracePointe Memory Care Suites. The staff helps her with medications, nutrition and hygiene. She is happy, safe and enjoying her life. Jessica knows that as her mom’s needs change, Tabitha is there for her and her family. If Darlene ever needs therapy or skilled nursing, Jessica knows she can rely on Tabitha. And when the time comes for a higher level of care, Tabitha will guide them through that journey.

Emma's Story

Working with her Tabitha continuum navigator and her nephew, Harlan, Emma discovered the compassionate care and pleasant, peaceful surroundings she needed as she faced the challenges of memory decline.

A daytime home-away-from-home, Tabitha The Club—Adult Day Services services provide a safe, nurturing environment for adults who need extra care during the day when other family members may not be available. Whether for regular or respite care, clients enjoy nutritious meals, engaging activities, memory care support, medication administration and assistance with other activities of daily living.
