For generations, Tabitha has a legacy of supporting Nebraska families. Founded and based in its original Lincoln location, since 1886.
In October 2024, Tabitha, entered into an affiliation agreement with Eventide, headquartered in Moorhead, Minnesota, expanding our reach and mission to empower older adults to thrive. Eventide serves as the parent company.
As the region’s quality award-winning expert for older adults, together, nonprofit Eventide | Tabitha:
- Supports an average of 2,300 Seniors daily
- Employs 2,200 TEAMembers
- Has a legacy of over 200 years of service
- Engages with a philosophy of compassion and commitment to empower older adults, families and TEAMembers to thrive

Eventide | Tabitha offers a range of services in western Minnesota, North Dakota and Nebraska, from results-driven rehabilitation, accessible at-home home health care, innovative living communities and compassionate hospice services.
Both nonprofits are like-minded, faith-based Senior health care experts, offering a full continuum of care, including 55+ active adult apartments, independent senior apartments, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing care, as well as home health care and hospice.

We are a proud member of Lutheran Services in America (LSA), one of the largest health and human services networks in the country. The LSA network of more than 300 members touches the lives of 1 in 50 people each year in thousands of communities across the U.S. and the Caribbean.
