Brian Shanks, President & Chief Executive Officer
Brian Shanks started with Tabitha in 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer and was named Chief Executive Officer in 2024.
Shanks brings over 30 years of extensive experience in finance and business, including the areas of real estate, courier services and franchise investments. He was instrumental in boosting student housing occupancy rates at the University of Nebraska and managed standardized policies and procedures, data metrics and financial reporting for dining, residence life, contracts, payroll, facilities and conference operations. Shanks also provided fiscal oversight of $250 million worth of construction projects including a new dining center and residence hall across the state’s college.
Katie Lechner
Katie Lechner, Chief Operating Officer
Since joining Tabitha in 2015, Katie Lechner has been instrumental in developing and managing the Talent and Culture team and projects. Under her direction, employee recruitment, retention and engagement levels along with culture have thrived. Thanks to her leadership, Tabitha was honored with Advisory Board Survey Solutions, Workplace Transformation Award for outstanding commitment to measuring, understanding and improving the needs of Tabitha’s 1,000+ strong employees. In addition, Lechner played a major role in creating a new workforce development program. It encourages personal growth and development through continuing education, exploring new career pathways and providing key industry training and workshops. Lechner’s career advancement serves as a perfect example of Tabitha’s Workforce Development in action—maximizing and growing talent from within the company.
Aimee Baumann
Aimee Baumann, Chief Financial Officer
Aimee Baumann was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2024 after serving as Tabitha’s Financial Director since 2021.
With nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Baumann plays a key role in defining and supporting Tabitha’s corporate strategic direction. With her experience in forecasting, budgeting, and both operational and financial planning, she has been instrumental in identifying efficiencies and streamlining financial and accounting processes, demonstrating her commitment to operational excellence and fiscal responsibility.
