Tabitha, Nebraska’s industry-leading Senior Care provider, was voted Best of Grand Island for In-Home Health Care and fan favorite for Hospice by area residents in The Independent’s annual promotion.
This marks the sixth year in a row that both Tabitha services have been recognized among the best. Tabitha Home Health Care and Tabitha Hospice play an integral role in the lives of Hall County area residents, serving Clients wherever they call home.
Tabitha Home Health provides in-home rehabilitation therapies, medication management and nursing medical care based on individual needs. They carry out the physician’s plan of care with the goal of keeping Clients independent at home.
“To be honored by local residents we care for and about is the greatest form of recognition,” said Marci Whipple, Tabitha Home Health Administrator. “We are grateful for your strong support.”
Tabitha Hospice delivers expert, compassionate care to those facing a life-limiting illness. The program includes an interdisciplinary approach that combines symptom control, pain management, personal care assistance, and grief and bereavement support to clients and their families.
Karen Cheesman, Tabitha Hospice Administrator, shared: “Tabitha is dedicated to providing exceptional care to Grand Island-area Seniors and their families. It’s an honor to be recognized as one of the top hospice providers in Hall County time and time again. We’re Nebraska-based and invested in the community as we work and live alongside those we serve.”
Tabitha is in the midst of bringing a state-of-the-art senior living community, Tabitha at Prairie Commons, to the Grand Island area. It is slated to open in 2022.
This will extend Tabitha’s strong continuum of senior care to Grand Island with independent, assisted, memory care and long-term/skilled nursing living, in addition to short-stay rehabilitation options for those recovering after an illness, accident or planned surgery.
