Tabitha in Crete Residences, Douglas and House 2, have received the American Health Care Association (AHCA) Bronze Award—Commitment to Quality distinction.
This distinction is related specifically to the living communities’ long-term care/skilled nursing services. A team of Tabitha nursing professionals work alongside Residents and their physicians and families to provide individualized care for Residents to live comfortably in a residential-style environment.
“The Bronze Quality Award is the result of hard work by a very Committed and compassionate team of individuals,” stated Sherri Due, Administrator of Tabitha in Crete. “Our team prides itself in having the latest training and skills necessary to continuously meet and exceed the expectations of Residents and their families by providing expert-level, quality care.”
Tabitha Residences offer a family-centered environment, allowing older adults to flourish in private suites where they can direct their own lifestyle including meal times, social activities and gatherings. These communities have proven to result in better clinical outcomes, reduced hospitalizations and unprecedented client satisfaction and comfort.
In addition to the two homes in Crete, four Tabitha Residences are located at Tabitha’s main campus in the heart of Lincoln, and three others are located in the Williamsburg neighborhood in south Lincoln. All hold the Bronze Award.
The AHCA National Quality Award Program is a stringent and progressive three-step process that encourages the continuous learning, development and execution of integrated quality systems to achieve performance excellence. Each step requires a more detailed and comprehensive demonstration of quality integration and performance.
